For IMP users who need to create tasks for online production, you must have a Content Item in the system in order for the work to be completed. Once a Content Item is added, you can apply one of the pre-set task templates for various types of article (or image) production.

Create Tasks by Template

  1. Locate the Content Item to which you need to add production tasks. Scroll down the page until you see the Tasks section:
  2. Search for the appropriate template (most business units have their own templates and can be searched for by Department):
  3. Once you've applied a template, a new tab appears identifying the Platform (Web) and Department (AARP.org). Tasks from the selected template are added to this tab.

    Task start and due dates are based on values set in the template and calculated so that each person involved in the process has time to complete the task assigned in time to meet the deadline.
