Updating or Resetting Your Password in the censhare Client


Unlike the Web Client, the censhare Desktop Client is not synced with AARP's Active Directory; therefore, we recommend changing your password in the censhare Client whenever you are prompted to update your password by AARP every three months.


  1. Open the censhare Client

    Note: If you are unable to log in, contactPubSupport@aarp.orgto have someone on the Media Operations team send you a temporary password.

  2. Go to File > Change Password ...

    A change password dialog box displays:



  3. Type your current password (or the temporary password emailed to you) in the "Old Password" field

  4. Create a new password. Re-enter the new password in the "Repeat" field.

  5. Click OK
