Installing Adobe 2020, CPS and UTC Update

This download and installation will install the (CPS) censhare application, Adobe 2020 (InCopy and/or InDesign) and an update to the Universal Type Client. Please be prepared for the installation to take some time. We recommend installing at the end of the day or when you don’t anticipate needing to use Adobe or UTC for a while.

 

1. Make sure you have closed out of all Adobe applications and the Universal Type Client (UTC)

2. Go to the Self Service application and search for Censhare

3. Choose the correct application to download and install (Copy Editors/Researchers/Editor OR Photo Editors/Designers)

4. Click install.

 

 

CPS Log In

Once your applications have installed you will need to launch CPS and log in to make sure that you have access to the application.

 

1. Navigate to and click on the censhare Client:

2. Version screen loads before login screen. Please make sure you see Version 2020.3.1:

3.Login in:

    Server: aarpus-test

    User: AARP username 

    NO PASSWORD (leave blank).

4. Click “Online” to login.

5. Opens to CPS Production Asset Query Page:

SET A CPS PASSWORD (DESKTOP APPLICATON ONLY)

You will need to set a password for CPS prior to the training.

 

1. While logged into the CPS application go to File  Change Password

2. Leave Old Password BLANK

3. Add New Password and Repeat

NOTE: This is just your password for the desktop application. If you use the Web Client as well that log in will remain an SSO log in and will be your AARP username and password.
